More control over your AI flashcards, better ways to review, and new light mode. Here's everything that's new in Luna.
AI flashcards – more control, better results
AI models change over time, so we regularly review and refine how Luna creates flashcards to make sure it's working exactly as it should.
Luna creates AI flashcards using only your uploaded notes, not new study material, helping support academic integrity and giving you confidence that every card reflects what you're actually studying.
We've also improved the quality of AI-generated cards. Flashcards now focus on one fact at a time, True/False questions are more balanced, and you'll be prompted to review every card before saving, so you stay in control of the final result.

Low confidence card review
When you rate cards 1★ during a review, Luna keeps track of them so you can practise those cards again as a retake.
But sometimes a low-confidence card isn't a sign you don't know the answer – it might just need to be clearer. Now, at the end of every review, you'll have the option to check and improve those cards before your next session.
Currently available on the Luna web app.

Light mode
Luna now supports both light and dark mode, so you can choose whichever works best for you and your surroundings.
Head to Settings > Personalisation to switch between modes. And as a bonus: the colour you pick for a collection now stays consistent throughout your review, so it's easier to tell which deck you're working on.

Revision resources moved to the Support page
All your revision tips, guides, and support content are now gathered together on the Support page. This keeps your main workspace focused on your collections and reviews, while making support resources easier to find when you need them.
Nothing has been taken away – just moved to a more logical home.
