Funding could cover the cost of Booost and Luna
Funding depends on where you are right now:
School
EHCP funding

If your child is at school or college in England and has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), they can get Booost and/or Luna funded through that plan.
An EHCP is a legal document for children and young people up to 25 with special educational needs or disabilities. This plan sets out the support your child is entitled to, including assistive technology. If assistive technology is named in Section F, the part of the plan that lists equipment and support, the local authority must pay for that provision.
If your child's EHCP already names assistive technology, ask the school or local authority to contact us directly for a quote.
If assistive technology isn't in the plan yet, you can ask for this to be added. Raise it at your child's next annual review, or request an early review if you don't want to wait. Your school's SENCO can help you make the case, and we're happy to support with evidence of how Booost and Luna help.

University
DSA funding

Are you studying a higher education course in the UK? Do you have a formal diagnosis of a neurodivergent condition or other disability? If so, you're likely eligible for the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).
DSA pays for extra costs you face as a disabled student, covering computer equipment, software, specialist one-to-one support and more.
Booost and Luna can both be fully funded through DSA.
If you haven't applied for DSA and want to find out more, please see our Understanding the Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) guide.
If you’ve already applied and been recommended Booost and/or Luna, your DSA assessment centre will order your software on your behalf and we will then email you with details of how to activate your Booost or Luna licence.
Some DSA schemes (e.g. those administered by the NHS and Scottish funding bodies) require you to buy the software yourself and claim the cost back. If that’s you, complete this form (you'll need your DSA funding approval letter to hand), or email info@booosteducation.com and we'll get you set up.
And if you are a DSA Needs Assessor, or other professional supporting a student through the DSA, visit our DSA hub for everything you need to recommend both Booost and Luna.
